Easy Orange Rolls

I made these beauties last night to take to Sue's. I've been wanting to try this recipe for a while now, but I knew if it was good, I would eat the whole thing by myself! I figured taking to a get-together was the best option! I've changed some of the directions to maximize the orange sauce to biscuit ratio.

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons grated orange peel
2 (10 ounce) cans refrigerated biscuits

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a saucepan, combine sugar, butter, orange juice and peel. Heat until sugar is dissolved and butter is melted. Pour 1/3 of the mixture into a greased 10-in. fluted tube pan. Place 8-12 biscuits the bottom of the pan. Drizzle another 1/3 of the orange mixture on the biscuits. Arrange remaining biscuits On top, overlapping slightly. Pour remaining orange mixture over biscuits. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately turn upside down onto serving platter. Serve warm.

My Grammy

So this was the memory board I was asked to do of Grammy for her visitation and funeral. I didn't want to just slap on pics with magnets so I did it my way. ;D

Because I had all these photos of Grammy from the memory board and because I didn't want to waste all the embellies I had used, I decided to do a LO or two.
This is actually fromt he center of the memory board. I just added a CS barckground and some trims.

More pics, embellies and PP from the memory board.
My grandmother would be so proud of me not wasting anything. Seriously. This woman saved used Christmas paper and re-used it the next year.

Trying

Ok, I am trying to make a difference with my health.

I have three goals this month:

1) No pop (except for special occassions) - it hasn't really been too bad. I've been using caffeine tabs as a replacement. I do want the caffeine just not the calories. But, oddly enough, I forgot to take them today and I am still headache free! Yay!

2) 10 minutes of exercise every day. This one is harder. I have Mondays and Thursdays covered with aquacise. Just have to work the other days out.

3) Drinking 8 cups of water a day. My only issue with this? I have to practically live in the bathroom. Seriously. I have a very active bladder no matter what the case, adding more water to it only makes that worse. But, I am trying to do it.
