It's All About the Food

So, I tried MORE recipes this week. I decided to go with the Crazy Plates cookbook for a change. Just to mix it up.

I've had the following:

Thai for Two - linguine, chicken, and veggies in a spicy plum sauce. I liked it! But I would make it spicier next time.

For Goodness Steak - Asian marinated steak. Yummmm. I had it with baked potato and asparagus. This will definitely be a staple recipe.

Mr.Bowjangles - bow-tie pasta with chicken, broccoli, and sun-dried tomatoes in a light sauce. Just had it tonight and OMG! it was soooo good. I went back for a second plate, but I couldn't finish it, even though I REALLY wanted to.

Isn't She Loafly? - a chocolate zucchini bread .... mmmmm, chocolate. It was amazing.

Copabanana Cake - I made this because Kimmartha recommended it and I had three bananas sitting on my cupboard ripening their way to the composter. It was soooooo gooood. Honestly, this recipe makes a 13x9" cake and only calls for 1/4 cup of margarine!

So. Some people would say that they couldn't possibly make the bread or cake, because they would eat it all. Easy way to fix that problem. The freezer. Once it was cool, I cut the cake and bread up in the serving sizes stated in the recipe book, wrapped each piece in plastic wrap, and froze them. That way, if I really want it, I have to actually put some effort into getting it.

Seriously, my life these days is all about the food.
