Peter and Condi - Are They Bleeping?

Ok, you gotta go check out this little blurb from Jon Stewart...he's talking to Norm MacDonald. As you may know, Norm is Canadian, and has his own take on the Peter/Condi romance.

How different is different?

Princess mentioned watching the View today, which reminded me of something I wanted to blog. I watched only the opening when they sit around the table and discuss various topics. I have to say that my respect for Barbara W just went down the crapper! The ladies were discussing the various women in the past dozen years who have slept with underage students, such as Mary Kay Letourneau, Debra LaFave, and Pamela Turner. They discussed the basic morphology of that kind of abuse/relationship. Then Elizabeth mentions stereotype and men. Then someone brings up Woody Allen. Elizabeth, Rosie and Joy are pretty much of the same mind - it was disgusting. And Barbara W proceeds to defend him and says loudly that 'it's completely different'.

So, my question is how?

I know that these women had sex with 13 and 14 year old adolescent boys. They abused them! I am not disputing that. I realize that Woody Allen didn't abuse Soon-Yi at an early age. At least, I sincerely hope not. But his was a position of trust of which you could argue he took advantage. I won't even get into the whole nude pictures thing. And the fact that he was cheating on his partner.

But I do have to point out that M.K.Letourneau is now married to said boy and they have two children. I point this out because I know someone is going to say that Woody Allen and Soon-Yi Previn are married and have kids. I know someone is going to point out that their relationship was found out when Soon-Yi was 22. But I feel the need to point out that Woody Allen was 57 (which I find disgusting, but that's a different matter). I feel the need to point out that he helped Mia Farrow raise Soon-Yi from the time she was 12!

So here are these female teachers, in positions of trust, who abuse these boys. And there's Woody Allen, in a postion of trust, who has a "relationship" with this girl he helped raise.

A judge called his behaviour inappropriate and had to dismiss sex abuse charges because they were inconclusive. Just because a charge is found inconclusive does not mean an abuse did not happen. It just means that there was no proof.

So, how can a respected journalist like Barbara Walters say that there are no similarities at all?

I waited on posting this until I could do a little more looking at Barbara Walters. You might want to check out Hollywood.com . She seems a little off-her-rocker, diva-ish to me. But that's just my impression.

Apology To America

I don't know if anyone watched this when it was on 'This Hour Has 22 Minutes' originally. I almost peed my pants when I first watched it. To this day, I still get a chuckle out of it.

An Interesting Read

Here's an interesting editorial:

He also has a blog at The Huffington Post ... some very interesting material there.

And here's another vomittous one, speculating a 'romantic' link between Peter MacKay and Condilezza Rice:

Did anyone notice that the picture of the 'lovebirds' was taken at Joe Horton's?

Pigs CAN Fly!

Well, it is confirmed!

Pigs CAN fly! Cuz Boogie Flew into the winners seat on BB7 last night!

I have to say that I am quite disappointed that Booger won. I still don't feel he deserved it. When it came to how the game was played...well, really, neither of them deserved it. It should have been Will and Janelle up there, like Nakomis said.

But since it wasn't, I still don't think Booger should have won. I mean, really! Erika managed to turn things around, save herself AND get the ultimate player booted off the game! That alone, to me, deserved the $500,000 prize over being the pansy-ass, tail-coat rider of the ultimate player.

To further prove what an ignorant fuck-wit Booger is, when he did win, he simply got up from his chair and strutted straight to the door. It obviously didn't cross his mind to at least shake hands with Erika for a good game played. Like an intelligent, MATURE adult.

And that's all I have to say about that.
